Zigwai A. Fanda is a social and environmental entrepreneur dedicated to transforming Africa’s approach to sustainability through climate action, circular economy innovation, and community-driven development. With a background in Chemical Engineering (BSc/MSc) from the University of Aberdeen, UK, she has built a career that bridges the worlds of engineering, sustainability, and entrepreneurship.
As part of her mission to create systemic change, Zigwai Fanda founded Climate Change and Circular Economy Africa (CCCE Africa)—a leading non-governmental organization (NGO) committed to bridging the gap between policy, innovation, and industry in Africa’s sustainability landscape. CCCE Africa fosters cross-sector collaboration to tackle the continent’s most pressing environmental and economic challenges, positioning Africa as a global leader in climate-conscious industrialization.
